Crafting Stories, One
Twist at a Time

About The Author
Marguerite Mooers.
I worked as a teacher in a medium security prison in upstate New York before retiring to write (you guessed it) murder mysteries. I began my writing career writing short stories and poems, a number of which have been published and won awards.
Several years ago, the murder of a child in my home town, prompted me to write her first novel Take My Hand (2014) which features Detective Chris Bellini, and also has a character who works in a medium security prison. In addition to writing, I am a watercolorist and and watercolor teacher. I’m the doting grandmother of four, and loving wife (of many years) to Richard. Together we are active in a local lifelong learning organization, as well as being hikers, kayackers and travelers. Writing keeps me active, and crafting interesting murder mysteries, keeps me from getting bored.

Chilling
Powell has an extraordinary talent for real dialogue and real characters. What a fascinating and chilling tale.
Totally believable!
This was one of my favorites of Marguerite's books. Wow! It's a very plausible story line. The main character begins his sleuthing & it takes him all over trying to discover many truths while writing his novel. And then Marguerite does it again with "I didn't see that coming"! Well done. Some romance, lots of mystery & hard work on the farm. Well done!
